Who is this guy?
Hi, I'm Paul. I'm a dad living in Shawnee, KS that likes camping and fixing stuff!
(sometimes fixing stuff WHILE camping)
If you see me on the road at a campsite, holler at me! I'd be happy to see if I can help you with your project or just have a chat around the campfire.
Why should I let him work on my RV?
Because... I'm a nerd. I have literally fixed or rebuilt just about everything in my life. From dishwashers, to building offroad suspensions from scratch, to replacing clutches, and repairing air conditioners. I don't call the guy, I am the guy.
Most importantly I like to do things the right way. RV's come from the factory with some sketchy stuff, I like to fix/improve upon them whenever I can.
Does he know things?
Yep, and if I don't know it, I will for sure research it until I figure it out. Your problem is my passion.
I specialize in systems thinking. Everything in RV's is about finding balance between convenience, longevity, and weight.
I have a 4 year degree in Auto Tech with a specialty in Diesels and Heavy Equipment. I used to be ASE Master certified (though I let it lapse because I wasn't doing it every day and renewals get expensive $$$). Also 20+ years of fixing all of my own stuff, and my neighbors, friends, and family's stuff too.
