Mobile RV Upgrades and Repair in Kansas City

Camp Farther.
Fight Less.

You bought your RV to escape, not troubleshoot. I upgrade and optimize RVs so you can go further off-grid, ditch the annoyances, and actually enjoy the outdoors. I answer the phone, show up, and do the work.

🔧One Person. Every Job. You deal directly with me, start to finish
Paul, owner and technician at Epic RV Tech, mobile RV repair in Kansas City

This is just me. And that's the point.

I'm not a shop with a rotating roster of technicians. I'm one person who genuinely loves this work. When you call, I answer. When I show up, I already know your situation. When the job is done, you have my number, not a ticket number. That's not a limitation. That's the whole idea.

Sound Familiar?

Your RV works. It's just not working for you.

Most RVs roll off the lot built for the average camper, which means they're never quite right for your camping style. That's exactly the kind of problem I love solving.

😤

The Constant Annoyances

That door that needs a bungee cord. The shore connector that leaks. The drawer that rattles all night. Small things that add up fast on every trip.

🔌

Shore Power Dependence

Want to camp somewhere without hookups? Most stock RVs aren't ready for it, and that limits where you can go and how long you can stay.

🏕️

A Rig That Doesn't Fit Your Life

The layout, the storage, the charging options. It all made sense in the showroom. Now you work around it instead of it working for you.

What I Do

RV Upgrades Tailored to How You Actually Camp

I don't just fix things that break. I build the RV you actually want.

Layout & Reconfiguration

Add storage, rearrange what's there, or replace what doesn't work. Your rig should fit your life, not the other way around.

Standard Repairs, Too

Inoperative heater, AC on the fritz, electrical gremlins. I handle the bread-and-butter repairs that keep your rig road-ready, not just the upgrades. If something's broken, I can fix it.

Most service calls run 1 to 2 hours depending on the issue. Before I start work, we'll talk through what I found, what I recommend, and what the expected cost looks like. No surprise invoices.

I'm a one-person shop by design, which means you deal directly with the person doing the work. I bring a strong mechanical, electrical, fabrication, and troubleshooting background. But I'm also honest about what I know and what needs more digging.

If I run into something unusual and need extra time to research or verify the right repair path, that time is on me, not your invoice. You're paying for the work, not my learning curve.

Where I Work

Serving the Kansas City Metro

I'm a mobile RV tech, so I come to you anywhere in the KC metro on both sides of the state line. That covers Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Shawnee, Leawood, Prairie Village, Gardner, Bonner Springs, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Independence, Liberty, Gladstone, Raymore, and Belton.

I work on travel trailers, fifth wheels, Class A, B and C motorhomes, toy haulers, truck campers, and campervans. Service call is $85 within 25 miles; beyond that it's $2.50 per mile.

Campsite, driveway, or storage lot. It doesn't matter where your rig is sitting. That's the whole point of mobile service.
