Universal Stick-On TV Screen Retention Clips, Fits Most Samsung and Other TVs (8-Pack)

Quick fit check before you order

Universal doesn't mean every TV. These stick to the side of the TV with 3M VHB tape, and a small lip reaches around to catch the front edge of the panel. Two things have to be true:

• A reasonably flat spot on the side of the TV, about 1/2 inch wide, for the tape to grab.
• Enough room at the screen edge for the lip to come around the front without hitting anything.

Go look at your TV from the side. If both of those check out, you're good. If the side is curved, crowded with vents or a raised bezel, or you just aren't sure, send me your model number and a side-view photo and I'll tell you straight whether I think they'll work.

These are the ones to buy unless you have a 75-inch Samsung DU6950. That's the only model my wrap-around clips are confirmed on, and those don't need any adhesive.

Why your screen is doing that

The panel separates from the frame, usually starting at the top. You get a gap, a sag, or light leaking around the edge. Ignore it long enough and the panel can come off completely.

Mine did it on a 75-inch Samsung, which is how this whole thing started. The wrap-around clips I made for that TV won't go on thicker frames or oddly shaped backs, so I made this universal version for everybody else.

Installation

1. Wipe the mounting spots with rubbing alcohol and let them dry.
2. If you want them evenly spaced, measure and mark the spots lightly with a pencil.
3. Peel the red liner off the tape.
4. Press the sagging section of the panel back against the frame.
5. Set the clip so the lip catches the front edge of the panel.
6. Press hard for 30 seconds.
7. Give the adhesive 24 hours to reach full strength.

VHB tape grabs hard and it isn't meant to come off and go back on, so take your time getting each one where you want it.

The fine print

These are third-party clips I designed and make myself. No TV manufacturer is involved with them or has approved them.

They hold a panel that's separating from its frame. They won't fix a cracked panel, a bad backlight, or anything electrical.

I can't guarantee fit on models I haven't personally tested, which is why the fit check above matters. Adhesive can leave residue or mark the finish on the side of the TV, and putting a third-party accessory on your TV may affect whatever manufacturer warranty you have left.
