Read this before you order

These fit one TV that I know of: the 75-inch Samsung Crystal UHD DU6950. That's the model number on the label on the back of the set. Not the brand, not the screen size.

They hook over the outside edge of the TV and hold the panel back against the frame. Nothing sticks to your TV. Because they wrap the whole frame, a frame that's thicker than the DU6950's, or shaped differently, will stop them from going on. The clip face is about 2 inches wide. People read that as the thickest TV it'll fit. It isn't.

If your TV is anything other than a 75-inch DU6950, get the stick-on version instead. Those tape to the side of the TV and work on a much wider range of shapes and thicknesses.

Want me to look at your TV first? Send me the full model number and a photo of the edge shot from the side. Takes me a minute to answer and saves us both a shipping label.

What's happening to your TV

The screen panel starts pulling away from the frame. Usually it shows up at the top first as a gap, a sag, or light leaking around the edge. Left alone, the panel can come all the way off.

Mine did it. Every option I found was bad. Call Samsung and hope it's covered. Haul a 75-inch TV to a repair center. Tape it. Or throw out a TV that still works fine.

So I drew up a clip that hooks over the outer frame and pushes the panel back where it belongs, printed a set, and my TV has been fine since.

What you get

  • 8 black retention clips, about 2 inches wide each
  • No adhesive, nothing to clean or prep
  • No taking the TV apart
  • Space them wherever the panel needs the help
  • Free shipping

Not just you

Other Samsung owners have run into the same thing:

The fine print

These are third-party clips I designed and make myself. Samsung has nothing to do with them and hasn't approved them.

They hold a panel that's separating from its frame. They won't fix a cracked panel, a bad backlight, or anything electrical.

Putting a third-party accessory on your TV may affect whatever manufacturer warranty you have left.
